Responsibility
- Establish, develop, prepare, and facilitate and coordinate to install and maintain environmental management system to achieve international standard.
- To be the environmental monitoring and internal auditor by updating the information center in the area of laws & regulations and environment issues to decrease environmental risk and concerning in social and environmental issues
- Establish and develop the system to collect, monitor, analyze, update and audit in environmental law and regulations continually to reduce non- compliance risk that is able to lead to revoke concession and conflict with community.
- Participate and consult in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) at the beginning of project, selection appropriate technology, and preparation of an environmental and rehabilitation master plan to ensure the outstanding performance in environmental management as well as successful business operation.
- Problem solving, decision - making in the area of environmental management system. Implement and report corporate environmental plan and propose the solution.
- Evaluate, assess and audit environmental performance to report to management and public.
- To be project leader/ member of study team in environmental management system and community development to promote relationship between our customer, government and community.
- Establish, develop, consult, facilitate and coordinate to install and maintain environmental management system to meet international standard and also problem solving and decision -making in order to reduce environmental and social impact around mine area during the operational stage. Closing operations at the end of mine site in a way that minimizes social and environmental impacts.
- Coordinate and control environmental and social monitoring continually.
- Promote and enhance the knowledge and capabilities of the staff.
- Promote good relationship and also negotiate between mine site, government, community and public in area of environment and community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science or related fields.
- 3-5 years experience in direct field particularly in mining industry.
- Ability to coordinate and work with consultant and government, both Thai and International organization
- Understanding environmental laws and regulations and related laws of all investor countries.
- Ability to be a presenter or trainer
- Certificated in Environmental Management System/ISO14001, cleaner technology
- Ability to understand and run the environmental computer modeling, ie., air quality model
- Ability to investigate, analyze environmental issue. Understanding environmental impact assessment and environmental management system.
- Ability in project plan & management and budget control
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill in English
- Able to work abroad from time to time
